Camera Apps For Droid

I purchased a Droid X do I have to have a Google account?

I purchased a Droid X yesterday & will not receive it until a week from now. I’ve heard that you HAVE to have a google account to use the phone and I’ve heard you only have to have one if you use Gmail or certain apps?

You need a Gmail account in order to download apps. Having an account on your phone is HIGHLY recommended, since it backs up your contacts, apps, settings, etc..
