Camera Assistant Software Driver
I have a Toshiba Laptop with a built in Webcam, and it will not work.?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6905. There is a built in webcam that was working about two months ago. When I go to device manager the webcam does not show up, neither does the Image Devices which should be there. When I click on the Camera Assistant Software a message comes up saying webcam driver open fail. please restart camera or computer. When I go to skype it says there is no webcam installed. How can I get my webcam back.
I already uninstalled the Camera Assistant Software once and reinstalled it, but the same message comes up.
Download and install the web cam drivers at the link below. This should solve your problem.
