Where can I download free webcam softwares that can…?

…take pictures, videos with sounds and have different kinds of effects? It must be free. I have a Toshiba, XP. I used to use the Camera Assistant software but it is giving me errors sayignt that I cant use it and that I should check my settings. And if I try to check my settings, it gives me the error again. PLEAAAAAASE HELP!!

some built in webcams aren’t suppose to take pictures and videos. They are made just for webcam online.

you will have to buy another webcam and install it in your Laptop I’m afraid.
