Good guides for beginners?

I recently bought a digital SLR camera, I take better pictures. I enrolled in a photo summer class at the local community college for more information. I am looking for: Web pages with tips for beginners / Books Any how another source where you can learn to make better suggestions photos please? My searches have failed, so I'm going to y'allz. FYI: I bought a Pentax Kx if you have one and know some cool tips or tricks to say … Death: Yeah, I've been practicing with the manual settings. I am familiar with ISO, shutter speed and aperture. I do not know in detail, but I understand that to put things in priority. Yes, running on rechargeable AA Lithiums me and I ignore LV. Are you aware of the guidelines to be taken into account?

What we call "beginner" in this list? Have Any ever shot with manual settings? Are you familiar with the basics such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc?
