Camera Dvr Iphone

Buying a new DVR Surveillance?

I am looking to buy a DVR surveillance for my current monitoring system. The DVR I have now no enough ports for my cameras and is only accessible through my local LAN. Does anyone know of any DVR that allows me to access my cameras from an external connection to talk or through my iPhone 3G? Then a one that I like but I'm not sure if it's only LAN.
