Camera Dvr Recorders
can I connect my cctv cameras to view them online?
I just purchased a new home. I have not moved there yet, but I have cctv cameras around the outside of the home, and running through a dvr recorder for the cameras. I do not have internet connection there at that location yet, but will soon. I want to be able to view these cameras online.
My question is…. Can I go to walmart and get a router, connect the router to the camera system, and view the online using the net mask settings and dns settings WITHOUT internet connection at that location yet?

should be able to view them on you PC if your recorder has a USB port? For security I would keep them on a seperate connection and view from a cell phone away from home etc? It is possible?
