Macbook imovie help needed. When I click on the little camera icon to videotape myself, the video comes out?

The video comes out just fine, but my voice isn’t being recorded!
It’s frustrating because I KNOW the internal mic works because I am able to do a voice-over.
How can I get my voice recorded in real time while I videotape myself using the internal camera?
