Is there any way that an original ipod touch 2g can get a camera on it, what is that red light at the top?

the red light at the top of the screen, u see it when like sunshine hits it, it’s like a little red charging light, i didnt know if it was a camera 2 the front?

Not really.
No company really offers to do that, so you would have to do it yourself. Good luck with that.
And the red light is most likely the ambient light sensor.
