What would I use to make a mug?

I am going to be hollowing out a camera lens and filling it with something to make it a mug. What could I use to fill it so that it won’t leak and still be drinkable?
Care to elaborate on the glass idea? I’m not a glass blower, nor do I have the tools to blow glass.
