What size suitcase/bag did you bring to the hospital?
I am 37 weeks tomorrow and have started packing my hospital bag. I have a small suitcase that I have out packed already. I don’t want to feel funny rolling up in a full size suitcase but I feel I need that much space. Here is a list of what I’m packing. If I’m forgetting something please let me know. Just wondering what size bag you brought I’m trying hard to not over pack. Thanks:)
List of items bringing:
Baby:
A few diapers, outfit for pictures/going home (only one!) gown that goes with it, blanket, mittens, nail file, pacifier
Me:
Body wash, soap, q-tips, etc…
Nursing pj’s, robe and pj set (light), 2 nursing camis, 2 nursing bras, underwear, socks, outfit to come home in, nursing sling, boppy pillow, breast cream (small sample), breast pads (3), regular pads, slippers video camera and camera.
Change of clothes for hubby and change for vending machine.
Any other suggestions? Thanks
Sounds great. I wouldn’t bring regluar pads though I would bring extra long super absorbant. Some women bleed heavily for a while after giving birth and the regular pads don’t work as well.
Oh and don’t forget the back up batteries for the cameras.
