Camera Sling
What is the term called when your baby sleeps with you in your bed and is able to breast feed itself?
I’ve seen it on TV a few years ago about breast feeding and sleeping babies. One couple had a guard up on the side of her bed and a sling around her with the baby inside. The camera that was monitoring her all that night showed she hardly moved during the night and never woke up because the baby was able to feed itself.
I know it’s debatable whether this is safe or not, that’s why I would like to know more before I make my own decision.

It’s frequently called cosleeping, but what you described is more accurately called cobedding- where the parent and child share a sleep surface.
That’s a pretty accurate description of how I slept and nursed with my babies, except I’m not sure how safe (or necessary) a sling would be while sleeping.
