Can an “over-the-shoulder” camera shot also be called a “dirty one” shot?
There’s a type of camera shot that shows the person speaking and then a little bit of the back of the other person in the scene. (Mostly used for interviews.) It’s called an “over-the-shoulder” shot, but I’ve heard it called a “dirty one” shot. I can’t find that term on the internet though. Is that correct?

Yes its called a Dirty OTS and has more of the other’s person’s shoulder and head in the frame. I’ve never heard it specifically called a “dirty one”, but every crew takes on its own nomenclature.
