Camera Viewer Mac
iPhoto question?
I just got a digital camera (never had one before)–it’s a Fujifilm A400, 4.1 megapixels. When I upload the pics to iPhoto or FinePix Viewer, they’re huge! So I tried making them smaller, but then I lose a lot of the clarity. How can I reduce the size and keep the photos nice and clear?
(I’m using an iMac w/ Mac OS-X installed, if that helps.)
I use iPhoto all the time!
Initial picture size is controlled by the camera, not iPhoto.
I enjoy those humongous picture sizes. I crop the pictures down, edit them a bit, remove red eye… then when I want to use them on the ‘net or via e-mail , I send off (share or export) smaller picture sizes to friends and family.
So I guess I’m saying , enjoy the big 4.1 megapixels or change the option on the camera to take lower resolution pictures.
No, I’m really saying keep the big pictures… your family and friends will appreciate the full resolution your camera gives you!
iPhoto keeps 2 versions of the pictures, the original and the cropped down, edited versions!
