Camera Wireless Remote
How I can configure a wireless remote control with my Canon Rebel XSi?
I know a lot, not very close to the camera, so I need help. I just bought a RC-6 wireless remote for the camera, and I have no idea how to use. The instructions say to "set the camera mode to shooting remote control. For more information, read the pages on how to drive or remote shot at the camera manual instruction ". I did not know how to set the camera to shooting mode driver or remote control, so it skimmed my camera manual. But the closest thing I found was when I was talking about how to use a remote with a cable. Sooo … Help? Oh, well done, I've read all 195 pages yesterday. I only skimmed again today to see if I missed something. Still could not find. : / And it really is a Canon Rebel XS … No XSi. I clearly know nothing.
Do not skim Owner's manual … READ it. The answer you seek is in the manual. Well, that explains it. The XS can only be used with a cable release. You can not use a version wireless.
