Camera Wizard Windows Vista
“camera connection wizard has stopped working” pops up everytime i install logitech image studio 7.?
right now i am using windows vista, and an old logitech quickcam express webcam that use to run on windows 98.
The thing to do is go to the Logitech website to see if they have new Vista-compatible drivers available for the Logitech Image Studio 7 package. The problem is with the drivers. The Win98 drivers won’t help you any more. Worse case is you’ll have to purchase a newer Vista-compatible program or upgrade.
When (if) you install Vista, one of the first parts of the installation program does a ‘software compatibility check’ . It will let you know that many programs have “known compatibility’ issues, and/or that many are not compatible with Vista. But I was impressed by Vistas ability to keep searching for the right drivers for your software even days after the installation.
Again, the first step is to go the the Logitech website. I assure you they’re aware of the issue and are addressing it, so information should be readily available on the site. Check the FAQs.
